A South American traditional beverage, our 100% organic maté is grown in the rainforests of Brazil and aged for 12-18 months naturally in traditional Argentinian style. This results in an earthy, fresh sweet flavor. Our pure leaf has a very high leaf content with minimal stems and powder creating a bolder yerba. Our espresso grade is our pure leaf finely ground and infused with yerba maté extract yielding the strongest yerba on the market. It is ideally suited for preparation via an espresso machine. Maté is naturally caffeinated.

Brewing Instructions Pure Leaf:Â Steep 1.5 TBSP of yerba in 8oz. of water at 185 deg. for 5 minutes, strain, add your favorite flavoring or drink straight up.
Brewing Instructions Espresso Grade: Run yerba maté through your espresso machine in place of espresso. Use yerba maté shots in all your favorite espresso drink recipes.
